Ngā haumitanga para Waste investments
This page contains an interactive dashboard which displays information about the funded projects that support waste reduction and minimising harm from waste.
Funds data includes active and closed projects supported through the WMF, PIF and CRRF that have been publicly announced as receiving funding from 2010 to now. Projects can be viewed by impact and region. We will update this data around every quarter (variable by funding round).
The Waste Investments map displays information about projects supported by the three waste investments funds:
- Te Pūtea Whakamauru Para | Waste Minimisation Fund (WMF)
- focused on accelerating the transition towards a low-emissions and low-waste circular economy.
- Te Tahua Pūtea mō te Kirihou Auaha | Plastics Innovation Fund (PIF)
- focused on minimising plastic waste and its harm on the environment.
- Te Whakangao Hanganga Para | COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund (CRRF)
- focused on waste and resource recovery initiatives.
