Reducing waste: a more effective landfill levy consultation document proposed to:
• apply the waste disposal levy (the levy) to more types of landfill, and increase the levy rate
• improve the collection of waste data
• develop an investment plan for levy revenue.
The consultation ran from 27 November 2019 to 3 February 2020.
