April 2013The Climate Change (Emissions Trading and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2012 was passed by Parliament in November 2012 (2012 Amendment Act). It amended the Climate Change Response Act 2002 (the Act) to make a number of changes to the ETS. In addition, Cabinet has agreed to some minor and technical changes to the ETS. Some of these changes need to be given effect by amending regulations made under the Act. Read more
