Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Minister for the Environment, hereby makes the following order.

Order

1. Title and commencement - (1) This order may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Trans Power New Zealand Limited as Requiring Authority) Order 1992.

(2)This order shall come into force on the 7th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

2. General approval - Transpower New Zealand Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of all existing electric lines (as defined in section 2 of the Electricity Act 1968), and all existing high-voltage electricity substations (including switching stations, power station substations, and switchyards -

(a) For the supply of electricity in New Zealand; and

(b) Owned by Transpower New Zealand Limited.

3. Approval in respect of project with existing designations - Transpower New Zealand Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for the following projects (being projects to which existing designations relate):

Rodney District Council 4.9144 hectares, more or less, situated in Block XI, Waiwera Survey District, being Lot 6 on Deposited Plan 60254, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 89C/249 (North Auckland Registry). Electrical Transformer Substation.
Waikato District Council 4.4135 hectares, more or less, situated in Block IX, Komakorau Survey District and Block XII, Newcastle Survey District, being Lot 6 and part Lot 7 on Deposited Plan S 18043, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 50D/800 (South Auckland Registry). Proposed substation.
