Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1999, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Minister for the Environment, hereby makes the following order.
Order
1. Title and commencement - (1) This order may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Watercare Services Limited as Requiring Authority) Order 1992.
(2)This order shall come into force on the 7th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
2. General approval - Watercare Services Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of all existing pipelines, structures and equipment -
(a) Necessary for the purposes of supply and distribution of water, and collection, treatment, and disposal of sewage in the Auckland region; and
(b) Owned by Watercare Services Limited.
3. Approval for proposed projects - Watercare Services Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 for the proposed projects described in the Schedule to this order.
