The Ministry for the Environment has been discussing Resource Management Act issues, and options to address them, with a wide variety of government agencies, local government, business, practitioner and environmental groups, and the wider community. Local Government New Zealand have submitted a report “Enhancing New Zealand’s Resource Management Performance” (PDF 970 KB) in response to the Government’s review of the RMA. The report was presented to Associate Environment Minister David Benson-Pope at the Local Government Conference in Auckland on 27 July 04.
