The Board of Inquiry for the Turitea Wind Farm proposal gives notice under section 101(3) of the Resource Management Act that it will hear submissions and applications for resource consent for Mighty River Power Limited’s proposed Turitea Wind Farm.

The hearing commenced on Monday 6 July 2009 at 10am.  The duration of the hearing is likely to be the following dates:

Hearings will begin at 10am on Mondays and 9.00am on other days, and generally finish at 5pm Mon - Thur, and 3.30pm on Fridays. There will be short 15 minute breaks at 11.00am (11.30am on Mondays) and 3.30pm.  Lunch will be approximately from 1pm to 2.00pm.

Hearing Programme

If you have indicated in your submission that you wish to be heard, you will be contacted closer to the start of the hearing about when you are likely to be heard. Because of uncertainty about the length of presentations and questioning, it may not be practicable to allot in advance a specific time for each party and witness.  A provisional programme will be prepared and forwarded to submitters, and will also be published on the webpage.
