Parties present: Kate Brennan, Paul and Jo Bodle
Notes: Mr Bodle points out where the five proposed pylons would be sited on their property. He points out an airstrip that is used by seven properties in the area, which would be affected by the proposal. He points out the scenic reserve and pockets of native bush, and also a QEII Trust covenant.

Notes: Kate Brennan points out where towers would be placed on property, and gives a
visual example of the span of the base of a proposed tower by using hay bales and rope, measured and placed to depict the size. Ros Sellers points out trees that would need to be removed, and a QEII Trust covenant. Robert McQueen points out the existing ARI-PAK tower on the property, which is 23 metres high, and shows the footprint size difference, in comparison to the hay bales and rope example set out.

STOP 3: GRAY ROAD - Vincent and Sue Jones Property
Parties present: John Hewitt, Kate Brennan, Robert McQueen, Vincent and Sue Jones, Noel Sweetman, Ros Sellers, Tony Shergold.
Notes: Mr Jones points out the existing pylons and communications tower, and points to where the proposed towers approximately would go. Kate Brennan points out the boundary, which would make mitigation planting difficult here. Mrs Jones points out the Te Miro bush reserve (DOC Halo Project), which is 402 hectares. Ros Sellers points out a natural spring, which is their water supply.

STOP 4: GRAY ROAD - Ros Sellers / Tony Shergold Property
Parties present: John Hewitt, Kate Brennan, Robert McQueen, Vincent and Sue Jones, Noel Sweetman, Ros Sellers, Tony Shergold, Susan Brennan (SWDC).
Notes: Ros Sellers and Tony Shergold point out the existing towers and line, and where the proposed line would run. Ros Sellers shows photos of their view on a clear day, which would be obstructed by the proposed line.

STOP 5: GRAY ROAD - Ruru Summit - Tower 255.
Parties present: Susan Brennan, John Hewitt, Paul and Jo Bodle, Robert McQueen.
Notes: Mr Bodle points out the existing line, and where the proposed line would run. John Hewitt shows the proximity of his house and farm in relation to the existing ARI-PAK line, and where the proposed line would be, and also an affected airstrip. Robert McQueen points out Maungatautari and the Te Miro community, and also points out some laid out hay bales representing the proposed tower base size and location. Stephen McAdams points out where the proposed line would run, avoiding the QEII reserve, and also points out a DOC scenic reserve.
