    • Industry scope proposal with stakeholders
    • Industry authored discussion document
    • Minister briefing and cabinet approval to notify
    • Public notification and the submission period is a formal process lasting 8 weeks.
    • Submission period – this is the current stage
    • Analysis of submissions
    • Report on submissions is released
    • Final proposal to the Minister accompanied by analysis of submissions and Section 32 cost benefit analysis
    • Minister consults colleagues
    • Report and recommendations released
    • Legal drafting of the standard
    • Draft becomes regulation.
