This graph demonstrates the relationship between changes to landfill taxes and the recycling rate of construction and demolition wastes in Denmark. The graph indicates that, in general, as landfill tax increased the recycling rate for construction and demolition rates increased. Recycling rates increased rapidly at first and then more steadily but increases did occur at the same time as increases in landfill taxes.
