e-Waste Survey for eDay 2008

eDay provides an opportunity for households, community groups, schools and small businesses to drop off old computer equipment at no charge so they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. On 4 and 5 October 2008, 16,607 cars dropped off over 87,000 items of computer equipment at 33 collection sites across New Zealand. During the event surveys were administered including a driver survey, an equipment survey, and equipment totals. This report presents the results of those surveys.
