This figure is a bar-graph to show the methods of disposing of ICT equipmen t for 2005/06. The disposal options were: sold to staff, returned to supplier, landfill, to recyclers for breaking down, storage, to refurbisher and donated to schools/community groups. The graph shows that for computer monitors and desktop computers the top disposal option were to refurbishers and secondly donated to schools or community groups. Mobile phones were the equipment category most likely to be sold to staff, however, mobile phones were also the equipment type most likely to be landfilled.
