This figure shows the annual allocation as percent of water balance. Auckland, Canterbury, Hawkes Bay and Otago regions had the highest percentage of available allocation, all above ten percent. The remaining regions allocations were all below eight percent, ranging from approximately half a percent to seven and a half percent.
