Of the usually resident employed persons 15 years of age and over which travelled to work

70% drove motor vehicles in 1991
74% drove motor vehicles in 1996
76% drove motor vehicles in 2001

Between 1991 and 2001 the number of people that were passengers in motor vehicles or biked to work decreased slightly between the 1991 and 2001 census.

Those taking public transport, motorcycles, walked or jogged or replied other did not show much change between the 1991 census and the 2001 census. All of these categories were below 10%.
