This flow diagram shows the process of calculating mean travel time and CGI. The steps to calculating mean travel time and CGI which are shown in the flow diagram are:

  • Calculation of mean link travel time for each period.
  • Calculation of aggregate mean travel time for the monitored network for each time period (all links combined).
  • Calculation of aggregate mean travel time for the monitored network. Whole day Section.
  • Calculation of the nominal link travel time for each period
  • Calculation of the congestion indicator CGI for each time period.
  • Calculate the congestion indicator CGI Whole day.
