Abstract	Currently contains data from a kahawai recruitment (juvenile)survey conducted from November 1996 to September 1997. The database could be used to hold data for recruitment surveys of other species. The database does not hold details of gear types, so if gear types other than beach seine were to be used, there would need to be slight modifications conducted to the data base.
