Diagram is a scatterplot of approximately 900 sites and shows that there is a large variation in the relationship between well depth, aquifer confinement and NO3-N concentrations. However, there is an apparent general tendency of deeper, confined wells to have higher electrical conductivity than shallow (unconfined) wells.
