Updated Users Guide to Resource Management (National Environmental Standards Relating to Certain Air Pollutants, Dioxins and Other Toxics) Regulations 2004 (Including Amendments 2005)

This document provides a guide for practitioners in local government implementing the national environmental standards for air quality. The document provides guidance by referencing the relevant regulation and providing a 'plain English' description of how best to implement the regulation. The guide also outlines the relationship between the national environmental standards and existing local government controls and details transitional arrangements.

The guide will be superseded by 2011 Users’ Guide to the National Environmental Standards for Air Quality.
