Section 42A Report - Transpower New Zealand Limited North Island Grid Upgrade

January 2008

This report was commissioned by the Board of Inquiry Upper North Island Grid Upgrade Proposal under section 42A of the Resource Management Act, and has been prepared by Mitchell Partnerships, Auckland. 

The report includes key issues of the proposal, an overview of the notices of requirement documentation and resource consent applications lodged and an analysis of information provided by Transpower. 

The section 42A report commissioned by the Board of Inquiry identified, in section 7.2.1, the requirement for further information on magnetic fields to be provided to all parties by the applicant.  Transpower have provided this information to the Board of Inquiry and the Board has made this information available.
