What is the HFSP workbook and spreadsheet?

The HFSP workbook and spreadsheet has been developed to assist future users with the application of the HFSP and to ease the burden of manual calculations.

The HFSP workbook and spreadsheet is based on a standard EXCEL (Windows 97) software, and comes with an interactive database containing some 300 hazardous substance profiles.

The EXCEL workbook contains the following worksheets:

  • a HFSP calculation sheet
  • rating of hazardous substances for the HFSP (300)
  • technical data used for rating the 300 hazardous substances
  • instructions and explanations
  • synonyms
  • a sample calculation
