Resource Management Practice and Performance: Are desired environmental outcomes being achieved at least cost? - A case study of farm dairy effluent management

This case study examines policy approaches adopted by five regional councils for managing effluent from farm dairies. The aim of the study was to identify how practice could be improved and costs reduced in the implementation of policies for managing the environmental effects of farm dairy effluent disposal.
