Figure 4 shows the agricultural emissions projected for 2010 (40.4 Mt) and emissions from the agriculture sector as reported in the national inventory for 1990 to 2003. The emissions as reported in the inventory are increasing steadily at 1.1% a year from the 32 Mt in 1990. The line is quite smooth and without the fluctuations seen in the energy sector.
