Figure 3 shows the projected annual emissions from the energy and industrial processes sectors at 2010 compared to a line showing the emissions reported in the national inventory from 1990-2003. Emissions from these sectors are rising steeply at around 2.5% per year but there are fluctuations between years that are primarily related to the hydro-electric generation capacity.
