New Zealand’s Greenhouse Gas Inventory 1990–2006
The New Zealand Greenhouse Gas Inventory 1990 – 2006 is an inventory of New Zealand’s greenhouse gas emissions and removals. The inventory reports the emissions and removals of greenhouse gases from six sectors: energy; industrial processes; solvents; agriculture; land use, land-use change and forestry; and waste.
This publication is required under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol. The inventory is also a key element in the Ministry for the Environment’s reporting on the state of the environment.
An overview of the full inventory report is also available.
Flowcharts of the 2006 emissions are also available
