Textural description of figure
This figure shows the current rainfall by city for the North and South Islands of New Zealand, calculated as the annual average. Annual rainfall ranges from a maximum of 6,761 mm in Milford on the South Island to a minimum of 365 mm in Alexandra, also on the South Island.
