Textural description of figure
This figure shows the current sunshine hours by city for the North and South Islands of New Zealand, calculated as the annual average. Annual sunshine hours range from a maximum of 2,435 hours in Blenheim on the South Island to a minimum of 1,609 hours in Invercargill, also on the South Island.
