This guide is for organisations who wish to voluntarily monitor and report greenhouse gas emissions for their New Zealand operations. It encourages best practice in greenhouse gas monitoring and reporting and supports voluntary greenhouse gas reporting initiatives. It endorses the referenced reporting frameworks and provides information (emission factors and methods) to enable organisations to apply them.
Guidance and data for the 2010 calendar year will be released later in 2011, once source data has been compiled.
