Text description of figure

For the low end of full IPCC range of global warming, this figure displays the projected changes in seasonal mean temperature across New Zealand (in degrees Celsius) relative to 1990 for the 2030s. In summer there is a slight cooling in the order of one tenth of a degree over the South Island and southern half of the North Island and over the rest of the North Island a slight warming of about one tenth of a degree. For autumn and spring a slight warming is expected, with a rise in temperature of about 0.1 degrees. During winter, temperatures are expected to rise over New Zealand by about 0.2 to 0.3 degrees.
