This "roadmap" is for council staff or consultants tasked with identifying and prioritising climate change effects across a council's operations. The boxes on the right show where to find guidance for each step.

This flow chart assists local government staff or consultants with identifying and prioritising climate change effects across a council's operations. The third column in the following table identifies where to seek guidance in this manual, at each step.

2 Identify which of these assets and activities are important enough to your council to warrant further investigation. As above

Proceed to Step 6 if answer is YES.

6 Develop plausible scenarios of how key climate, social and economic factors relevant to significant assets and activities may change in your region.
