Figure 4.8 presents the output of modelling at a height above ground level (flagpole receptor) in two ways.

The figure on the left is a two dimensional plot of predicted concentrations ±1 km from the source in both the x and y directions at a height of 12 m above ground level.

The figure on the right plots the height above ground (y-axis) against the predicted concentration (x-axis) for one (x,y) location. It shows that the maximum concentration occurs between 25 - 30 m above the ground at that x,y point.
