Figure 8-3 overview the steps for regional modelling.
1. Inputs required are
- the study area size and non-road emissions.
- Estimatation of the road emissions for the proposed project.
- the worst-case meteorological conditions.
2. Use a regional model to determine future air pollution concentrations and the changes due to the new road.
3. Assess the changes in the pollutant concentration, and the impact the road proposal will have on air quality across the airshed.
