The first chart shows concentrations of BaP measured over a two week period at Coles Place, Christchurch, in June 1999. The concentrations were generally below 30 microgrammes per cubic metre. There were several days over the period where no readings of BaP were found.
The second chart shows concentrations of BaP measured over a month at Packe Street, Christchuch, in June 1999. Concentrations were higher than at Coles Place, with about half the measurements being over 30 microgrammes. The highest concentration was over 80 microgrammes. There were several days over the period where no readings of BaP were found.
