The chart shows benzene concentrations measured in at various locations in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Hamilton from 1996 to 1999. At Khyber Pass in Auckland, and Manchester Street and Riccarton Road in Christchurch concentrations were well over the current guideline. Several other locations in Christchurch, Auckland, and Dunedin, had concentrations over the 2010 guideline.
