There are four charts showing concentrations of ozone in Auckland. The first two charts show one-hour and 8-hour concentrations at the Skytower from 1998 to 2001. One-hour measurements remained about 50% “Acceptable”, 50% “Good” for the whole period. Concentrations were worst in 1999 with many “Alert” measurements for the 8-hour concentrations. There was a slight improvement in subsequent years.
The second two charts show one-hour and 8-hour concentrations of ozone in Mangere and Whangaporoa in 1996, and 1998 to 2001. One-hour concentrations were a mix of “Acceptable” and “Good”. 8-hour concentrations at Whangaporoa were mostly “Acceptable” for the period, allow concentrations improved slightly.
