Text description of figure
A chart shows the concentrations of one-hour SO2 concentrations measured at Takawhai, Northland, between 1994 and 1995. Concentrations were low (less that 50 microgrammes per cubic metre) from 1994 to 1996, but there was a large spike(over 240 microgrammes per cubic metre) in late 1996. Until the end of the period there were further spikes in the summer months.
