Text description of figure

There is a chart showing concentrations of PM10 measured at locations in the Tasman and Marlborough regions.

In Blenheim concentrations were mostly in the 'good' and 'acceptable' categories, with about 5 percent in the 'alert' category, or over the guideline.

In Picton in 2000 nearly 80 per cent of concentrations were in the 'good' category, with the remaining concentrations in the 'acceptable' category.

In Nelson the guideline was breached 50 per cent of the time in 2000 and over 30 per cent of the time in 2001."

In Richmond in 2000 40 per cent of concentrations were over the guideline. Of the remaining concentrations about 30 per cent were in the 'alert' category, and 30 per cent were 'acceptable'.
