Text description of figure

Figure 13.4 has two charts comparing PM10 concentrations measured using a beta attenuation monitor (BAM) and a TEOM with a 50°C sample temperature at St Albans, Christchurch.

The first chart shows data from October to March 1997 (summer). There is no discernible pattern and readings are widely dispersed.

The second chart shows data from April to September 1997 (winter) with TEOM readings considerably lower than those for a BAM. There is a very good correlation between the two methods (R2=0.97).
