There is a graph comparing average 24-hour concentrations of PM₁₀ in Timaru, between 1997 and 2001. Concentrations have remained constant throughout the period, with about 40 per cent of concentrations in the 'good' category, 30 per cent in the 'acceptable' category, 10 per cent for the 'alert' category, and 10 per cent over the guideline.
