Environment Centre Fund: Environment Centre Review Report

A review of the Ministry for the Environment's Environment Centre Fund was announced in 2004 to assess the value for money derived from environment centres and their alignment with, and capability to progress the Ministry's strategic direction. The findings of the review include: that centres need to better align to the strategic direction of the Ministry, that centres should apply to other funds for project-specific funding (e.g. the Sustainable Management Fund), and that the Ministry will move to multi-year funding arrangements.
