Orders in Council and regulatory impact statements

Canterbury Earthquake (Christchurch Replacement District Plan) Order 2014

Modifies the RMA to provide a streamlined process for the review of the existing Christchurch district plans and for the preparation of a comprehensive replacement district plan for the Christchurch district.   
Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act) Order and Amendment Order 2010

Relaxes certain requirements under the RMA on councils.

For example: easing timeframes for approval of consents.

 

Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act) Amendment Order 2011

Amends the principal 2010 Order in Council to reactivate expired provisions and provides for Kate Valley landfill to operate outside the conditions of consent, if required.

 

Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act) Order and Amendment Order 2011

Provides for a streamlined resource consent process for land remediation works (including infrastructure and flood protection works).
