Businesses can become more sustainable by choosing more sustainable suppliers, and also by looking at their Strategy, Processes, People and Capital. Their waste going into the environment will also reduce.
Businesses that supply other businesses have a particularly important part to play, because their practices have effects downstream. For example, if suppliers use packaging that is recyclable, this will save the businesses they supply from having to send that packaging to landfill.
