Overall, the majority of people thought that the issues specified were a high priority (55-80% of respondents). The issues, in priority order, were:

  • healthy streams, rivers and lakes
  • reducing waste
  • clean beaches and coastal water
  • clean air
  • managing toxic chemicals
  • energy efficiency
  • global warming
  • healthy soils
  • protecting biodiversity
  • safety from pests and weeds.
