The business partnerships for sustainability programme aims to promote and develop the adoption of sustainable business practices in New Zealand.
The three main elements of the programme are:
Initial meetings with business were held in June and July 2007, led by the Ministry for the Environment and Ministry of Economic Development. The Ministry of Economic Development is leading the programme, which has a budget of $3 million over three years (Budget 2007).
