(1) The Christchurch airshed has multiple monitoring sites. The annual averages reported here are based on the St Albans monitoring site only. Other results are a consolidation of the multiple sites.
(2) In 2009, one exceedance occurred because of transboundary pollution from the Australian dust storms. This exceedance has not been included in this table.
