Working closely with key stakeholders in the local government, business and community sectors, this team is seeking a manager who will lead a programme of work designed to:
This will be as broad as collaborating on tourism, waste management and business improvement initiatives as well as skilled management of grants and funding with third party providers on environmental initiatives
As manager, you will deliver results through others - lead and develop the team, build individual capability and manage a range of activities to achieve outputs.
You will need a relevant tertiary qualification, strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to lead and build teams. You will have had previous experience managing others and a strong understanding of management frameworks to support your decision-making. An understanding of the machinery of Government, the public Finance Act and experience working across agencies, local government and with external stakeholders is essential for this role. This fixed term role is full time and Wellington based.
Salary range: $102,102 to $138,138
Appointments within this range will be based on skills and experience.
